Yuuri's used to being more domestic, so the mood is actually weirdly settling to him, like he's back home in Hasetsu, with his mother making breakfast. Not that there's really THAT comparison, but there's something just... right about it, home-y, particularly with Makkachin in his lap, that he's been missing so much in Detroit. Not that he and Phichit hadn't made something of their own home, there, but this hits deeper than that. He hugs a little harder into Makkachin, which he seems to enjoy quite a bit, if the quiet woofing is any indication.
